This guide is for employees using TapInn for the first time. It shows how to get the app, log in and clock in.

1. Get the app
Download TapInn from the App Store or Google Play. You can also use tapinn.app/tap/app in the browser. You log in with the email address your employer has registered for you.
2. Log in
Enter your email and password. If you have set up a passkey under Profile, you can log in with that instead. Forgot your password? Tap Forgot password on the login page.
3. Clock in
Open Home and tap check-in. If you are inside the worksite geofence, you get a green confirmation right away. Lose your connection, and the check-in is stored on your phone and sent automatically when you are back online.
4. Breaks and check-out
Register breaks within the same work session. Only the time is stored, not your location. End the day with check-out so your hours are complete.
See your hours
Under History you can see your own sessions and hours. Spot a mistake? Send a correction request straight from History — with Report missing session or on the entry itself. Your manager reviews it in the portal, and everything is logged.
