How it works

From draft to published schedule

  • The manager creates shifts in the portal and checks employee availability before publishing the schedule.
  • Once the manager publishes the schedule, employees see their shifts in the app.
  • If someone needs to swap, the shift is posted to the marketplace. When a qualified colleague takes an open shift, the swap takes effect right away; a direct offer must be accepted and approved if you have turned that on.

Scheduling

Can employees swap shifts without the manager?

It depends on the swap. When a qualified colleague takes an open shift in the marketplace, the swap takes effect right away. If the shift is offered directly to one colleague, that employee has to accept, and you approve only if you have turned on approval for direct swaps. Everyone sees the same status throughout.

Do employees see each other's shifts?

Employees see their own schedule and available shifts in the marketplace. The full schedule is managed by the manager in the portal.

What happens when someone reports absence on a shift?

The absence request shows in the portal with a warning that it hits a planned shift. If you approve, the shift can be posted to the marketplace so a colleague picks it up.
