Scheduling

Scheduling the right person
on the right shift.

Build the shifts in the portal and publish. Employees see their schedule in the app, add it to their phone calendar and swap shifts between themselves in the marketplace. You approve the swaps and see the same status they do.

In practice

Scheduling the right person on the right shift.

The schedule is built per day or with a template for many shifts at once. Employees register when they can work, and you see that availability while planning. Approved absence shows in the schedule, with a warning if it hits a shift.

Publish when the plan is ready

Create and review shifts in the portal before publishing the schedule. Visibility before publication depends on your company settings.

Shift marketplace without the group chat

An employee offers the shift openly to qualified colleagues, or directly to one person. Status is followed from request to approval.

Availability and absence in one view

Employees report when they can work. Absence that hits a planned shift warns you before you approve.

What you get

What you get

  • Schedule per day and templates for recurring weeks
  • Schedule in the app with calendar export
  • Shift marketplace with open and direct swaps
  • Swap approval under Shift swaps in the portal
  • Availability and absence connected to the schedule

How it works

From draft to published schedule

  • The manager creates shifts in the portal and checks employee availability before publishing the schedule.
  • Once the manager publishes the schedule, employees see their shifts in the app.
  • If someone needs to swap, they arrange it in the shift marketplace. The swap only takes effect after manager approval.

Questions and answers

Scheduling

Can employees swap shifts without the manager?

Employees arrange the swap themselves in the marketplace, but it takes effect only once the manager has approved it in the portal. Everyone sees the same status throughout.

Do employees see each other's shifts?

Employees see their own schedule and available shifts in the marketplace. The full schedule is managed by the manager in the portal.

What happens when someone reports absence on a shift?

The absence request shows in the portal with a warning that it hits a planned shift. If you approve, the shift can be posted to the marketplace so a colleague picks it up.
